Zoe Kopp, President
Dr. Zoe Kopp is originally from Tarrytown, NY. She has lived and worked throughout US, Latin America, Africa and Asia. She received her PhD in Health Behavior from Union Institute and University (2007) and her Masters of Public Health (1987) in epidemiology and evaluation from Tulane University, New Orleans, LA. In 1981 she founded North Florida Women's Health and Counseling in Tallahassee, Fl and was guest lecturer at Florida State University. In 1987-1989, she was Clinical Services Officer for International Planned Parenthood Federation and led that organization's development of clinical guidelines for reproductive health and quality of care initiatives. As Deputy Director for Primary Health Care for CARE International (1990 -1992) she guided health education programming and expanded HIV prevention activities in Asia and Africa. Dr. Kopp, as a key consultant to US Agency for International Development programs, authored several texts on Women's Health/Urology and helped to establish the continuing education department for the Indian Medical Association. Currently she is Senior Director at Pfizer's Outcome Research group. She is also Vice-President of the board of directors for the Behrhorst Partners for Development organization which focuses on community development activities in Guatemala. She, her husband and 3 cats currently reside in Vermont.
T. Namaya, Secretary
Dr. T. Namaya MIA, MSN, FNP, D.Sci.is one of the cofounders of GRACE CARES. He holds a masters degree in International Development. He has worked in Yemen developing primary health care systems and hospital curriculums for nursing students. He has designed and developed water and community development projects in Morocco with CRS. With GRACE CARES he has been part of the team to develop water, stove projects, and provide overall strategic planning to community projects. He has been an organizational development trainer assisting not-for-profit agencies and an adjunct graduate professor teaching Cross Cultural Communications. T. Namaya is an international performance artist who combines his passion for peace and social justice with grassroots community development work.
Kenneth Giancola
Ken has a degree in economics and entrepreneurship from the University of North Carolina and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. He has served as the President of Pi Lambda Phi and Phi Alpha Delta fraternities both of which were heavily involved in fundraising and philanthropy work. Ken is past board member of the Fordham Housing Advocacy Project an organization that pairs law students with internship positions and volunteer opportunities in housing in Manhattan. He is a USCG Licensed Captain and splits his time between Manhattan and New Jersey.
Pippa Anderson
Pippa's research experience is in health economics and outcomes research. Her research expertise covers healthcare landscape assessment, measurement and valuation of health, international health care policy as it relates to health technology assessment, funding, uptake and reimbursement of health technologies and in undertaking research and economic evaluation using observational data. A founding director, Pippa established Fourth Hurdle Consulting - a health economics consultancy - in 1999 together with David
Grant and Adam Lloyd. This followed a twenty-plus year career in the pharmaceutical industry within sales, clinical research and consulting, as well as in health economics and outcomes research. Having ensured the successful integration of Fourth Hurdle into IMS HEOR Pippa is currently fulfilling a long held ambition to complete a PhD in Health Economics, based at Swansea University. Pippa also acts as a deputy Health Economist for the All Wales Medicines Strategy Group and the associated New Medicines Group.
